Jensen Tire & Auto, Locally Owned & Family Owned Company Breaking New Ground
Jensen Tire & Auto Inc., the largest tire and automotive services retailer in the greater Omaha marketplace, ranking #52 among the largest independent tire dealers in the US, is officially breaking ground for its new corporate headquarters, at 2:00pm (CDT), Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
The new corporate office is being constructed on 4.5 acres in Papillion, Nebraska, at 13572 Lynam Drive, just off 132nd Street and Cornhusker, in the commercial complex known as Hilltop.
Once completed, in November 2017, the new corporate space will encompass 8,200 square feet and feature 19 executive offices, two meeting rooms, an associate staff training room, a large reception area, and a 14,000 square foot warehouse equipped to hold 25,000 tires.
Matthew D. Jensen, President, explains, “We are investing more than four million dollars to create a state-of-the-art corporate work setting to provide expert training to our team of dedicated tire and automotive service specialists, and to strengthen our team’s service excellence skills to best provide for our current and valued customers, as well as new customers we plan to attract as we expand regionally.”
Since its first store opened in 1973 at 84th Street and West Center Road, Jensen Tire & Auto has grown to 21 locations. It is the largest local, family owned and operated retail tire and automotive service company in Nebraska. The company employs more than 200 associates who live and work in the communities they serve, including Omaha, Papillion, Bellevue, LaVista, Lincoln, and Fremont, Nebraska, and in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Jensen provides complete tire service, featuring major brands including Goodyear, Michelin, B.F. Goodrich, Sumitomo, Kelly, Cordovan, Cooper, Uniroyal, Toyo, Dunlop, and Hankook tires. The company also provides complete automotive services in all vehicle component areas, and specializes in routine, preventive, and complex diagnostic repairs.
