SUMMARY:Ground Breaking at Soaring Wings Vineyard
DESCRIPTION:June 9th storms ravaged Sarpy County and caused hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages to Soaring Wings Vineyard's buildings and vineyard. The loss of their newly expanded stage was a particularly hard blow. Monday December 11th at 4 PM a new chapter begins.\n\n \n\n"We have completed about 40% of the repairs to make us whole once again." Stated Jim Shaw\, owner of Soaring Wings. "Within the next two weeks we will finish the replacement of damaged steel on the exteriors of our buildings and break ground on the new stage."\n\n \n\nThe new stage was designed to work with the floor of the old stage and wrap around it so as to minimize costs. This new design\, by Jason Heinze of Schemmer\, will actually improve upon the aesthetics of the old stage in many ways.\n\n \n\nMike Mathews of "All Purpose Construction" has been managing the construction and repairs projects.\n\n \n\n"We missed having our stage available for the prime summer season this past year\," Shaw added\, "but look forward to having an improved stage for the coming years.\n\n \n\nGround breaking with Sarpy County Chamber officials and local area officials will be on Monday\, December 11th at 4pm.
