Legislative Update from State Treasurer Joey Spellerberg
State Treasurer Joey Spellerberg will be providing an update to the Sarpy Chamber community on his 2026 Community Update Tour.
Treasurer Spellerberg will provide updates on key initiatives and programs, including:
• The First-Time Homebuyer Savings Account Act (LB 803)
• Expansion of Nebraska’s education savings plan (NEST 529) to include skills-based training and credential programs (LB 748)
• Nebraska's Unclaimed Property Division
• The Enable Savings Plan, which serves individuals with disabilities
• StateSpending.Nebraska.gov, which tracks state government spending and revenue sources
