LightEdge maintains ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 20000-1 certifications and undergoes annual examinations and assessments for SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, SOC 3, HIPAA/HITECH, and PCI DSS.
Originally achieved in 2016, LightEdge maintains the ISO 27001 certification for its information security management system supporting their colocation, managed, and hosted services. Having an ISO 27001 certification empowers clients to make informed decisions about their cloud security services and ensures vendor accountability.

In addition to 27001, LightEdge maintains ISO 20000-1 certification based on the globally recognized ITIL framework. LightEdge’s ISO 27001 & ISO 20000-1 reviews were completed by Schellman & Company, LLC.
LightEdge also successfully completed SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, and SOC 3 examinations. These assessments provide clients with independent third-party assurance by a licensed CPA firm on the controls and processes supporting colocation, managed, and hosted services. The SOC examinations demonstrate LightEdge’s controls and processes were designed to meet specified control objectives (SOC 1) and applicable Trust Services Criteria (SOC 2 & SOC 3), and they were operating effectively throughout the reporting review periods. “LightEdge has completed annual SOC examinations since 2008 and will continue to make these a top priority due to the amount of highly sensitive and timely data our customers handle,” said Michael Hannan, LightEdge’s Director of Compliance.
On top of that, LightEdge successfully completed an attestation report relevant to its information
security program for the colocation, managed, and hosted services related to HIPAA and HITECH, and
achieved compliance with version 3.2 of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
relevant to its colocation services. LightEdge continues to be a validated PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider to demonstrate their data center facilities and services meet PCI’s strict security requirements.
