Gateway Auto, Sarpy County Best of 2019, Vows to Protect Customers with Free Air Filter Upgrades
March 24, 2020Gateway Auto, Sarpy County Best of 2019, Vows to Protect Customers with Free Air Filter Upgrades
In the wake of the current crisis, Gateway Auto is working to keep everyone healthy with free internal cabin air filter upgrades, enhanced sanitation practices, and new measures of customer care.
One of Sarpy County’s Best of 2019, Gateway Auto, is remaining optimistic, seeing time spent at home as an opportunity to take care of cars while they’re off the road, but is asking for your help to get through this crisis.
Owners Ben and Sandy were quoted saying, “If there’s a shining light for us, it’s that being stuck at home with nowhere to go means it’s a great time to take care of your car. And to show our appreciation, we plan to go the extra mile to ensure that your car is also prepped to keep you healthy, post-quarantine.”
One step Gateway Auto is taking is to provide all paying customers with brand new internal cabin air filters, free of charge, now through April 30, 2020.
“Your internal cabin air filter, like the air filter in your home, protects you from dirt, allergens, and other bacteria. Unfortunately, most people forget about changing it. That means people could be driving around with old, bacteria-filled filters that get them sick, post-quarantine. We’re not going to let our community risk it.” Toscano said.
But the company isn’t stopping at new internal cabin air filters. They’ve also established an action plan to make sure their customers, their team, and their community remain healthy. Effective immediately, Gateway Auto will be adapting its services in the following ways:
Customer Service Enhancements & Protections
-
Gateway Auto will pick-up and drop-off your car, if desired.
-
The company will be offering digital, contactless forms of payment.
-
Appointments can be scheduled online, through email or over the phone.
Internal Sanitation Procedures
-
Prior to entering the shop all cars and internal components, as well as keys, will be sanitized.
-
Prior to exit all cars and internal components, as well as keys, will be sanitized, HVAC systems will be cleared, and internal cabin filters will be replaced (free of charge) to ensure fresh, bacteria-free air is circulating through your vehicle.
-
The office will continue to be sanitized regularly, and wipes will be provided both at the entrance and exit of the shop.
Employee Health
-
Employees have been offered the opportunity to come into work earlier or later than usual, on off-hours, in order to avoid overlap and engage in proper distancing.
-
All employees have been informed not to report to work if they are experiencing symptoms suggestive of the illness such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, flu like symptoms, body aches and extreme fatigue.
-
Those employees who are capable of working from home will be doing so, in order to ensure the company is abiding by the 10-person capacity limit local government has chosen to enforce through April 30.
