Turner Construction is excited to announce details on the Hardhat in Hand program they are launching again spring and summer 2020 at the Papillion Data Center.

Turner Construction has a long-standing record supporting the communities in the areas where they live and work.  They actively look for opportunities to add value to both the personal and professional lives of those in their community.  Continuing their commitment, Turner is offering the Hardhat in Hand program for High school graduates wanting to enter into the building industry.

The Hardhat in Hand program is a collaboration of Turner, Metropolitan Community College, and Heartland Workforce Center.  Together they aim to give young adults, ages 18 – 30, an alternative to the traditional post-secondary education model.  In each session, twenty participants will be part of an eight week earn while you learn program that will help them get started on the Skilled Trades career path that best fits them.

    The Program: (March 9th – May 1st)
Offers students 11 college credit hours in basic construction education.
    Three nationally recognized certifications.
Hourly wage while they are in class.
On-the-Job training match with an employer to lead to employment.
