Radio Talking Book Service, founded in 1974, serves Nebraska and SW Iowa by providing human-voiced information for individuals with disabilities that prevent them from reading. We bring the printed word to life through our key program--Radio Talking Book Network, a statewide radio reading service. Our volunteers (who are now reading from home) read the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star 7 days-a-week, the Wall Street Journal Mon-Fri, and over 70 magazines including these topics: Home & Garden, Health & Wellness, Sports, Poetry, Veteran's Hour, Cooking, Pets and more. For a 24/7 program schedule or to listen live on your computer, visit RTBS.org. You can also listen on Alexa or Google Home, or the TuneIn app on your tablet or smartphone. Please call 402.572.3003 for other options if you do not have Internet access.
