TreeRush Adventures at Fontenelle Forest will be closed through March 31. This decision was made following the weekend announcement by Governor Pete Ricketts that health officials have established Nebraska’s first case Covid-19 acquired through community contact, and because of recommendations by state officials that large public events, programs and gatherings be limited.

TreeRush Adventures is not aware of any guest or employee who has reported having symptoms of the coronavirus. Likewise, Fontenelle Forest is not aware of any guest or employee who has reported symptoms of the illness. Members of TreeRush leadership will continue to monitor recommendations by federal, state and local agencies and will reopen as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.

As a result of our closure, TreeRush staff will reach out to guests who currently have reservations at the park. We also will continue to provide updates via our website, www.TreeRush.com and through social media.

Fontenelle Forest has canceled programs and events and has closed its Nature Center, Raptor Woodland Refuge and other buildings to the public through March 31. Members will be able to access forest trails between 8 am and 5 pm. Member fob access will be available before and after business hours, as usual. Visit www.fontenelleforest.org for additional information.

Closing TreeRush as we were just launching our season has been a difficult decision. However, we know it is the best decision in the interest of our community. Thank you for your understanding during this unusual situation.
