On Tuesday, we co-hosted our Boost with Facebook program with the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce and Papillion Mayor David Black. At the event, we provided over 300 local businesses with the most up-to-date tools, insights, and best practices for achieving success on Facebook and Instagram.

Since 2011, Facebook has invested over $1 billion around the world to help local businesses grow by building free technology and programs like Boost with Facebook.

Here in Nebraska, 57% of small and medium-sized businesses on Facebook say the platform has helped their business increase sales, and 60% say Facebook has allowed them to find new customers in other cities, states or countries.

We're happy to be part of the Papillion community, and we thank the Mayor and the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce for their support of local businesses.

Facebook’s data centers are part of the highly advanced infrastructure that helps bring our apps and services to more than 2 billion people across the globe. We broke ground on our Papillion Data Center in 2017, and the data center began serving traffic earlier this year. The data center represents an investment of more than $1 billion in the state of Nebraska and will be a 2.6 million-square-foot campus when completed.
