PAPILLION, NE, June 28, 2022 – A new mixed-use development is underway in Papillion near 84th street and Highway 370. The development team joined officials from the City of Papillion, Sarpy County Economic Development, and the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce today to hold a groundbreaking for The Tower District Papillion.
The Tower District Papillion is an approximately 120 acre mixed-use development that will be
located on the northwest corner of the intersection of 84th Street and Highway 370. This high-volume intersection is one mile south of downtown Papillion and has been eyed as a prime project site for many years.
Developers say the project will include a variety of residential options, retail, office, and civic
components in addition to greenspace and miles of walking trails that will make it an attractive place for residents to live, work, and play.
“Our vision is to create a ‘city within a city’ in the heart of Papillion for all household and income levels and provide a charming, walkable neighborhood that residents will experience for years to come,” said developer Jesse Calabretto.
Grading at the site is currently underway with infrastructure work to begin later this year. Some of the first homes and commercial Tenants are expected in late 2023.
