This internship is an excellent opportunity for students seeking to build practical marketing and communications skills, strengthen their resume, and work closely with a dynamic team of community leaders and professionals. As a Marketing Intern, you will work directly with MAC’s leadership and communications team to support branding, digital marketing, event promotion, and outreach efforts. You will help tell MAC’s story, highlight member successes, and promote programs and initiatives that drive economic and community development.

Qualifications:
- College student with good academic standing
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
- Proficiency in Google Suite tools, and Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Creative, proactive, eager to learn and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of marketing tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, or similar platforms preferred
- Have a positive attitude and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating and scheduling content for social media platforms, newsletters, and the organization’s website
- Support the development of marketing materials, including flyers, graphics, presentations, and promotional campaigns
- Help plan, promote, and document events, programs, and initiatives
- Conduct market research and assist with tracking engagement metrics and campaign performance
- Maintain marketing calendars and databases
- Assist with brand consistency across all communications
- Perform general administrative support related to marketing and communications as needed
Expectations:
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in the workplace
- Follow a consistent, regular working schedule of 15-20 hours a week
- Complete projects and tasks in a timely manner
