    Job Overview
    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Industrial professional to join our partnering company in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and electrical systems, with experience in maintaining and troubleshooting various types of equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our production processes.

    Injection Molding Maintenance Mechanic/Technician

    Days: Monday-Friday and Occasional Saturdays as needed

    1st shift: 7am to 3:30pm

    3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:20pm-7:20am and possibly an occasional Friday

    Any shift will first train on 1st Shift 7a-3p for approximately 6-9 months (or could take less time if they pick up on it quicker). Need a little flexibility on schedule.

    Pay Rate: $22-$27

    Job Description:

    Responsible to safely maintain production equipment and meet the maintenance department's scheduled preventive maintenance obligations while assisting with configuration and set-up of production molds.

    Responsibilities

    · Execute timely hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machine repairs

    • Perform cleaning, preservation and storage of production molds
    • Perform tool and mold maintenance and changes
    • Safe, efficient and timely configuration of production molds
    • Perform set-up's, start- up's and change-over's
    • Safe, efficient and timely completion of preventive maintenance assignments
    • Promote and maintain positive working relationships
    • Maintain safe working conditions at all times
    • Practice and maintain efficient housekeeping

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    · 5+ years’ experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.

    · Injection Molding set up, processing and technical trouble-shooting experience is a big plus.

    • Experience with hydraulics, pumps, air compressors, motors, chillers and valves
    • Hands-on in troubleshooting electrical and PLC knowledge issues

    · Experience and knowledge of proper operation of injection molding press

    · Must have the ability to operate material handling equipment, such as stand up and sit down forklift

    • Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
    • Candidate that have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within mold setting are strongly preferred
    • Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a variety of tasks; Keeps knowledge and skills current.

    · Experience working at a fast pace, high change environment, with limited supervision - self-starter

    • Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization and follow up skills
    • Possess good communication skills - both writing and speaking
    • Be able to work under time pressure and prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
    • Be able to maintain a positive and cooperative attitude daily and under deadlines.24 hour operation

    · High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Background Check: No felonies
    • Drug Test
    • Driver’s License
