November 04, 2025Sarpy County Museum giving back to Bellevue Food Pantry.
The holidays are right around the corner and as we are all grateful for the many things we get to enjoy, our thoughts also must go to those with food insecurities. This year the Sarpy County Historical Museum is partnering with the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and Boyd Jones Construction to erect a giving tree made of canned goods that will be donated to the Bellevue Food Pantry.
The tree will be located at the Sarpy County Museum and donations will be accepted starting on November 12, 2024 and going thru December December 14, 2024. You can drop off your donations at the museum located at 2402 Clay Street in Bellevue Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm.
Items needed include ready to eat soups, condensed soups, pasta sauce, canned pasta, canned chili, mac and cheese, hamburger helper, dry potatoes, peanut butter, jelly/jam, canned fruit, canned tomatoes, chili beans, black beans, cereal, pancake mix and syrup.
While at the museum, take some time to go through the museum and enjoy our holiday displays.
The museum will also be hosting a holiday open house on December 8, 2024 and the community is invited to come enjoy holiday music and goodies from 2pm-4 pm.
