Machine Operator for a Food Manufacturing Plant

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 6:30am to about 3:30pm (8–9-hour days)

Pay Rate: $19.25/Start

Responsibilities:

 Operate machines in production or in packaging area following target settings, maintaining quality control specifications, and continuous inspection of material to ensure the finished product is defect free.

· Responsible for preparing equipment before production, keeping equipment well maintained, and keeping the work area clean.

· Pay great attention to detail of required specifications to meet the company’s needs and comply with all quality and GMP requirements.

· Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· 1 to 2 years of Machine Operator experience

· Wrap machine operator experience is preferred

· Food manufacturing experience is preferred

· Must have good math skills

· Ability to read a ruler

· Lift up to 40 pounds.

· Mechanically inclined

· Good troubleshooting skills

· Bilingual preferred – Spanish / English
