David O’Neill began his legal career as a law clerk at Hauptman, O’Brien, Wolf & Lathrop, P.C. in 2002. A lifelong resident of Nebraska – David was born in Omaha and graduated from Omaha North High School. In 1998, he graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and went on to earn his law degree from Creighton University in 2005. After graduation, David served as an attorney in the Sarpy County Public Defender’s Office and then advanced to the Office of the Federal Public Defender before re-joining Hauptman O’Brien in 2007.
David is a member of the Offutt Advisory Council. He enjoys volunteering at Offutt to support our men and women who serve. His background and connection to a very diverse community are important. David’s interpersonal skills allow him to communicate difficult information in ways that anyone can easily understand and discuss.
